Consumer education, road safety education, citizenship education, education for sustainable development: a long list of societal expectations towards education.

The Flemish Education Council takes the pedagogical mission of education as a starting principle. Amongst the long and diverse range of educations, choice and selection are a necessity: schools have to be independent and responsible.

The Council advocates a structured dialogue with all stakeholders.
