Diversity is an asset. Engagement declaration of the Flemish educational field

At the occasion of the kick-off of the working year 2014-2015, the leaders of all the organizations involved in education and training in Flanders signed a new declaration of engagement related to diversity in education. They reconfirm their engagement to continue to work on improved education chances for all children, in spite of their background. They want to contribute to a society without discrimination, exclusion or racism, and to promote a climate of tolerance, openness and respect.

The Vlor has sent this declaration to the minister of Education, asking for support for this initiative by the minister of Education and by the Flemish Government.
